Terms of Service
The agreement between Ridgework and the contractors who use it, in plain language.
Effective October 6, 2026
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between Ridgework LLC (“Ridgework,” “we,” “us”) and the business that uses Ridgework (“you”). They cover our website, the Ridgework web app and the Ridgework mobile apps (together, the “service”).
By using the service you agree to these terms. If you are accepting them for a company, you confirm that you have the authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
We set up a workspace for your company and its first administrator. Your administrators decide who else gets access and what each person can see and do.
- Give us accurate information and keep it current.
- Each person needs their own sign-in. Do not share passwords.
- You are responsible for what happens under your company's accounts.
- Tell us promptly at support@ridgeworkcrm.com if you think an account has been used without permission.
The service is for businesses. Users must be at least 18.
Plans and billing
Ridgework is offered on plans. The plan and price for your company are the ones we quote you and you accept when you subscribe.
- Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
- Fees already paid are not refunded for a partly used period, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, we will tell you and give you a chance to fix it before we limit or suspend the account.
- We may change prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice, and a change applies from your next renewal.
- Fees do not include taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply.
Your data
The records, photos, documents and other content your company puts into Ridgework belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you, keep it secure, and support you.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to put it into the service. That includes:
- having any permission you need from your own customers to hold their information;
- following the laws that apply to the emails and notices you send through the service;
- keeping your own copies of anything you are required to keep.
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You can ask for a copy of your company's data at any time while your account is open, and we will provide it in a common format.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights;
- upload malicious code, or content you have no right to use;
- send spam or unlawful messages through the service;
- try to get into accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to reach;
- probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the service, or use it to build a competing product.
We may suspend an account that does any of these, with notice where that is practical.
Measurements, estimates and signatures
Ridgework produces figures and documents that you rely on in your work. Their limits matter.
- Measurements are estimates. Roof measurements drawn from aerial imagery, pitch readings, on-photo measurements and room scans depend on image quality, the device and how they are taken. Check them before you order materials, price a job or submit a claim.
- Estimates and invoices are yours. You are responsible for the prices, quantities, scope and terms in the documents you create and send.
- Electronic signatures. Ridgework records a signature and the details around it. You are responsible for making sure an electronic signature is valid and sufficient for your document and your state.
- Photo reports. A report presents the photos and captions you supply. Whether an insurer accepts it is the insurer's decision.
Ridgework does not give legal, insurance, tax or engineering advice.
Other companies' services
Parts of the service rely on other companies, such as aerial imagery from Google and, if you connect your account, roof reports from EagleView. Their services are subject to their own terms, and we do not control them.
Orders you place with a connected provider are between you and that provider. They are billed to your account with them, not by us.
Our software
Ridgework and everything in it other than your content belongs to us or our licensors. While your account is in good standing, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business.
If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Ridgework available and reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. If we plan to remove something you are likely to depend on, we will give reasonable notice.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Ridgework and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or that remains unpaid after notice.
For 30 days after an account closes, you can ask us for a copy of your company's data. After that we delete it as described in our Privacy Policy.
The sections on your data, our software, disclaimers, limits on liability, indemnity and disputes continue to apply after the agreement ends.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, however they arise;
- our total liability for all claims connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, or to your obligation to pay fees you owe.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Ridgework against claims by third parties, and the costs that come with them, that arise from your content, from your use of the service in breach of these terms, or from your dealings with your own customers.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot resolve between us will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and each of us agrees to their jurisdiction.
Before filing a claim, each of us agrees to tell the other about the dispute in writing and to spend 30 days trying to resolve it.
General
- These terms, together with the plan and price we quote you and the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
- If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver of it.
- You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it as part of a merger or sale of the business.
- We may send you notices by email to your account address or inside the app. Send notices to us at support@ridgeworkcrm.com.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, if the change is significant, give account holders at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
